Hey, I’m Aaron!

Everyone has certain standout memories from their childhood—maybe it was seeing your mom or dad everyday when they got home from work, or visiting your extended family on the holidays. Okay okay, I think we all have similar core memories. However, one specific memory for me as a kid growing up was mom’s camera. It was always one of those elusive objects that was a strict “no touch” and so you know what that meant…I wanted nothing more but to get my filthy little hands on it. The camera in question was a Canon WP-1. It was a kind of white or gray-white color with red accents and it’s highlight feature was the fact it was waterproof. As a kid growing up, I was nothing short of a button pusher. Whether it was the game console, kitchen appliance or dashboard of our current car—I had to mash the buttons. HAD TO. Between the button pusher in me, the strict “no touch” camera policy and a love for electronics, I’ve always felt it was destiny for me to have a camera in my hands and that’s how I explain where this all started.

GEAR DOESN’T ALWAYS MATTER, BUT IT SURE DOESN’T HURT TO HAVE IT.
